Rooibos (Red Bush)

Rooibos tea is only grown in a small area in South Africa, it is made from the bush called Aspalathus linearis. It has red bark, that's why it is called also "red bush". Rooibos is nice-looking; it is dark-red transparent tea- that's why for brewing and drinking this tea better to use transparent tea-things. Taste of this tea is light, a bit flower or fruit. To brew Rooibos tea, use 1 teaspoon of this tea for one person. Draw the drink 3-5 minutes and then pour into cups (preferably transparent cups). It is important to use special tea-strainer for this tea.

In South Africa it is more usual to drink Rooibos with milk and sugar, but elsewhere it is usually served without. Rooibos in other countries is drunk without sugar, lemon, liqueur or something else.

Rooibos can be recommended for people who suffer from headache, insomnia, depression, rising of blood pressure. Is used to treat allergy, asthma, hay fever. Red bush is sedative drink without calories for people who keep to a low-calorie diet. Studies also show that this tea relieves anti- spasmodic agents, which can relieve stomach cramping and colic in infants.

A lot of things show us that red bush stops the biological negative processes in our organism. For a person who suffers from above mentioned diseases 1/5 - 2 liters of Rooibos a day will be enough, it is also good to rub this drink in skin. To sum up all advantages we will have, that Rooibos is:
